He is Risen -- Happy Easter

Happy (Hoppy lol) Easter to everyone! I love Easter, it is by far the happiest day in the church calendar and one of my favorite holidays! Easter is a time of great joy and celebration, it is a time to renew our baptismal promises to the church. We are wiped clean of our sins and are cleansed and reborn.On this day, Jesus ascended into Heaven and defeated death. On this happy day, it is important to remember the ultimate sacrifice He paid in order to give all of us life again. Say a prayer of thanks to God and praise His name on high.

Today I will be celebrating with my family and friends. The day begins with church with my family. The music at Easter mass is always a favorite of mine. Everyone is so happy and optimistic. We'll make our way to brunch shortly after and then to my grandmother's house for Easter dinner. I'm sure an egg hunt will take place throughout the day and make sure to follow along on Instagram @dailydoseof_prep to keep up!

My outfit today is my Kini in the Keys January Skort from Lilly Pulitzer paired with a white Elsa Top from Lilly Pulitzer as well. For shoes I am wearing my gold Palm Beach Sandals and my hat is a vintage hat from Express. I say vintage because it was purchased over 30 years ago right after my mom graduated college!!
