Sailboats on Monument

I spent a day strolling around Monument Avenue with my friend, Gillian, the other day. I don't go into downtown Richmond too often because there are a few questionable parts and the traffic is so bad! I did however take a walk along Monument Ave because it is just so beautiful all along that street. The road is cobblestone and adorned with historical monuments for miles. The street is lined with the prettiest townhouses -- they hold so much charm!

For this outfit I am wearing my favorite skort from Lilly Pulitzer, the Lenore Skort. It's from 2016 summer and it's such a classic. I wore it during recruitment this past fall with the rush tee shirt and got so many compliments on it! I paired the skort with a white button down with embroidered sailboats on it from J.Crew. Believe it or not, I didn't actually find this at J.Crew. I purchased it from Goodwill of all places! It was $7 but easily could have gone for $120 at J.Crew! It's amazing what you can find at a thrift store!

For accessories I kept it pretty true to what I wear on an everyday basis. Once again, my KJP Pearlfection necklace was worn with my go-to pearl earrings and Clubmaster inspired sunnies from J.Crew Factory. My purse is from Target of all places.
