Blogger Spotlight: What is it?
I have been advertising the "spotlight blogger" on Instagram for two weeks now and I'm still getting questions about what it is specifically. I briefly explained it and I think it definitely needs its own blog post explaining the details. I thought of this idea late one night thinking of how I can say thanks to all of the awesome readers and followers who support me. A lot of the people who follow me on Instagram are bloggers as well, or those who are thinking about starting a blog. I would love to help those who might be a little bit smaller get their name out there!
Let's face it. We all start somewhere. There was once a time where big bloggers like The College Prepster, Krista Robertson, and Sarah Vickers started out with 100 or 200 followers. There are times where we just need a little push or some extra publicity to help get the ball rolling. I love to read about all of the great bloggers out there but sometimes it's a little hard to read them all because there are tons out there on the internet!
So, what exactly is the blogger spotlight?? Well, each week, Sunday to be specific, I email my readers a recap of my blog posts from the past week, inform them of new things coming to the blog, and share a little bit about a blogger who I think has great potential and a great platform. I loved reading every single submission that you all sent in! Last week's spotlight blogger was Madison from The Classic Madison.
The next question, is how do you apply? Easy. Follow this link here and fill out the application! I read every single one and choose a new blogger each weekend!
