The Little Navy Dress

We all know of the LBD (little black dress) and the LWD (little white dress) but not many know of the power that the LND can bring. The "little navy dress" is something that every girl needs in her closet. Navy is such a versatile color and can be worn from early Spring all the way through late Fall. It's one of those colors that you can style a thousand different ways due to its versatility. The power of a LND is incredible and is a great thing to have on hand -- a secret weapon of the modern classy woman. As a college student, I can use my LND for presentations, sorority events, chapter, and church just to name a few. My favorite current navy dress I have in my closet is my Callista Shift from Lilly Pulitzer and my go-to Fall/Winter LND is a three quarter length scallop dress from Francesca's from a few years back.

You can style these dresses down with flats, loafers, or even sandals or you can dress them up with some stylish pumps or a fun wedge. I think navy is styled best with gold jewelry or pearls. It's an extremely classic style that won't be going out anytime soon. As you graduate into college and then, once more into the real world, a LND is an important closet staple to keep close by for any occasion.
