Showalter Farms Apple Picking

I love going apple picking and the farm in Harrisonburg is beautiful. It's one of my favorite places to spend an Autumn day with friends. Showalter Farms and Orchards is tucked about twelve miles north of JMU and has everything one would need for Fall. From the fields of mums they have, the rows and rows of apple trees, or the patch of pumpkins, everything you need for decorate and cook your Fall faves can be found at this family run farm. On Friday, my little, Anna Lyle, and I spent the afternoon picking apples, taking photos, and soaking up the incredible views that the Shenandoah Valley has to offer.

While apple picking, I wore this flannel from J. Crew. It was from a few years back, but I linked a few similar ones below. I styled it with a pair of white jeans and my J. Crew Factory fisherman sweater for a little extra warmth. It's starting to get chilly in Virginia and you never really know how cold it will get on the mountain. For shoes, I styled my white jeans with my Bean Boots. These Bean Boots are going to be backordered very soon so make sure to get your pair before they're all sold out! PS: A dirty apple fell from the tree to my white jeans which is why there is a dirt stain (gross) on it. We just had to roll with it!
