Tweed Trends

Tweed is such a classic fabric it's so nice to see it finally getting some recognition in modern fashion trends. BooHoo and SheInside and so many other great brands are making affordable and super stylish tweed skirts, jackets, and dresses and I absolutely cannot get enough of it. As I was shopping for my Christmas Eve outfit, I found this great pearl button skirt from SheInside for only $15. Sadly, I don't think I'll be wearing it for Christmas Eve due to how short it is in the back but I couldn't pass it up. For $15 it's a total steal. I styled it with a black mock turtleneck crop top and my black beret from the "A New Day" Target collection. For my shoes, I again wore my Lulu block heels from Target as well.

This entire outfit is so affordable. The crop top was $6 form H&M last year, the beret $12, the skirt $15, and the shoes $30. Who says the preppy style has to be high dollar?! This skirt also looks incredible styled with black tights and over the knee boots. Seriously, love it that way too! If you decide to purchase the skirt, I would suggest going a size up. I ordered my typical size small and although it fits, a little more wiggle room would have been nice!
