Gift Guide for the Grad

Say goodbye to formal season and prom season, it's time for grad season!! Whether you're graduating and moving onto bigger and better things or your it's your sister, cousin, niece, daughter or bestie is graduating -- it's an extremely exciting time! May is the time to say many goodbyes either to high school or college friends and say hello to new beginnings and take that big step either into college or the big wide world. With such a thrilling time ahead and tons of hard work in the rear view mirror, you should treat the grad to a little gift.

The key to graduation gifts is to give the grad something that they'll not only enjoy but something that they'll put to good use in the near future. Today I'm sharing my not-too-expensive favorite gifts for the 2018 graduates. I shared gifts for both high school and college grads below with everything linked below so you can easily shop them.

First let's talk about this headboard pillow. These things are amazing. I had one for my dorm room and a queen sized one for my apartment and I sill get compliments on them, two years later. They come in a handful of colors and match any dorm or apartment. They truly polish up a room and make your space feel more homey. They covers are removable and washable too, which is a bonus win! Another unique gift that I think grads would love is the monogrammed charging keychain from Mark & Graham. In today's world, everyone should keep a phone charger on them all the time -- why not have it on your keys so you never leave it at home? I have one of these and love it! I never have a dead phone battery now.

A key trick for parents to give their kids is a good suitcase to remind their kids to come home every now and then. When I come home, I always use my monogrammed weekender tote. Seriously these bags are my favorite bag I own! They're durable, classic, and personalized -- what's not to love.
