All White Everything
With Memorial Day behind us, it's finally the appropriate time to pull out your summer whites. I somewhat stick to the white-after-Memorial-Day rule, but if Coco Chanel can pull out her whites before Memorial Day than I think it's the okay for the rest of the fashion world to do that same.
This outfit is far and above my absolute favorite outfit for the summertime. Monochromatic ensembles are so chic, and white on white makes literally any person look incredible -- especially in the summertime when we're all tan and happy! These linen pom pom pants are from J. Crew Factory and were a total impulse buy two weeks ago. I saw them on someone's Instagram Story and instantly knew I needed them. They unfortunately don't come in tall sizes, which was a risky move for me but I think with the right shoes, I can pull off the length (just barely!).
I styled these perfect these perfect pants with the shoulder tie bow tank, also from J. Crew Factory. This tank is extremely soft and double lined so you can't see your bra through it🙌🏻. It was on super sale during Memorial Day, so I snagged it for only $10. The ties on the shoulders are adjustable too, so it literally will fit any height and body type.
With the outfit being all white, I wanted to make sure I styled the 'fit with some incredible accessories. My boater hat is from Target and you can snag one for $12. Seriously, so perfect. The shoes are also from Target. They are called the 'Emery Espadrille' and are my heel of the summer. The nutmeg suede styled with the tan braided heel makes for a perfect combination of comfort and class. They are also nearly identical to the Marc Fisher Adalyn Espadrille Wedge, but are a fraction of the price. As a final touch of sparkle, I styled my Katie Dean choker, which has been my favorite piece of jewelry since the beginning of sophomore year.
Overall this outfit is so simple in color, but the true star of this outfit is in the details. From the subtle sparkle of my choker to my braided heel of the espadrille wedge, the bow shoulder, and the pom pom hem of the pant -- truly this outfit is one of a kind.
