Pink on Pink

Pink on pink is such a statement combination, but I absolutely love it. It's tough to wear the same color on top of one another, but if you can match a top and bottom perfectly, than you can really create a unique and stand out look. I found these perfect bow shorts on J. Crew Factory's website for a fraction of their regular price so I quickly scooped them up. When I went to style them with a top from my closet, I instantly wanted to stray from a white top. White sometimes is such a basic choice and I wanted something that would make the shorts stand out even more. This pink and blue top from J. Crew is just the answer to that thought.

The top itself is really simple, with it being a 3/4 length sleeve cotton tee. Again, it's the shorts that really pop. I accentuated navy in the shirt by wearing my navy and white Jack Rogers and my simple pearl earrings that I think I've worn in every blog post for the past two years.
