Lucy's Christmas List
First off, I wanted to thank people for understanding my finals week hiatus. There just isn't enough time in the day to get everything done so a cut back on the blog was what needed to happen. Despite being away for several days, today I'm sharing one of y’alls favorite posts - my Christmas list. I've said it for several years now, but there's nothing I'm dying to see under the tree this year. Since I was about 16, I felt like I had everything I ever needed. The last thing on my need list is a car and that's inappropriate to even think of ask for. When it comes to something I want, I typically save and ask for it myself making it difficult to curate a list for Santa.
When asked what, I would love for Christmas here are a few things that I've had my eye on but just can never justify purchasing. I talked about each of them a little bit below and linked them so you too can add them to your Christmas list!
Barbour Beadnell Wax Jacket - This jacket is way too expensive making it the number one reason why it's on my list every. single. year. I love this jacket for it's classic silhouette and timeless style. It goes well with just about every outfit and can be worn from fall through the spring. It also says with you throughout the years and never goes out of style. It's notoriously known as the indestructible jacket.
Short Ugg Boots - I have a pair of Uggs that I don't love anymore. They're taller and I received them back when I was a freshman in high school. I would love another pair. I love the dark blue short Uggs that can be found at Nordstrom. This winter has already been really brutal up at school so these would be a huge help!
J. Crew PolarTec Quarter Zip - I already gifted this to myself but it was on my original Christmas list, so I needed to share! This jacket is everything and I've worn it every day since it arrived in the mail. It comes in several colors and has pockets. The collar is double lined too and is stiff, which cuts down your need to wear a scarf with it.
Anthropologie Scarf - Speaking of scarves, I love this chunky scarf from Anthropologie. This blush color is beautiful too. If you live somewhere cold, wearing a scarf completely changes your level of warmth and I think I need this scarf in my winter wardrobe!
Gold Monogram Ring - My jewelry collection is pretty much all gold and I would love to add a simple and delicate gold monogrammed ring to it! It's a perfect, everyday ring to wear with casual outfits and dressed up looks as well.
Hunter Chelsea Boots - My legs are so skinny that my tall Hunter boots are so large in the calves. I love them for smaller trips out or wearing around the farm at home, but when going to class all day I tend to not wear them, even if it's pouring down rain. They slow me down and flap round my legs and honestly they're too exhausting to wear all day. These Chelsea Hunter boots would be perfect for longer days walking around. I would love to wear them for tours too.
Drybar Buttercup Blow-dryer - I blow-dry my hair just about every time I wash it and my hairdryer I received in the 8th grade is just about on its last leg. I would love to add this DryBay blow-dryer to my beauty routine. My friend has one that I've tried out a few times, and each time I do I fall in love with it a little more. It's lightweight and really powerful.
Resin Hoops - Tortoise shell + gold + hoop earrings = everything I've ever wanted. Enough said.
Monogrammed Robe - I spend way more time in a robe than the average human probably does. Whether I'm wearing it to get ready in the morning or at nights or if I'm just wearing it around my apartment, I love my fluffy robe. I want to add a second robe to my collection, preferably a lighter one like the one linked.
Glitter Mules - I love wearing mules with outfits because they're easy to put on and look great with many different outfits. If you cover them in glitter, I'm just about sold. Seriously, Madewell outdid themselves with these beauties.
COCO by Coco Chanel - I've tried out many scents this past year through samples from subscription boxes and Sephora and I'm obsessed with the COCO by Chanel perfume.
T3 Whirl Trio Curling Iron - I have recently been trying to learn how to curl my hair and I borrowed my friends T3 curling iron and I can see why every blogger and beauty guru call it the best curling iron on planet earth!
