The Easiest Neutral Look

Dressing up and going out with friends doesn't have to be complicated. Even I overthink what to wear to dinner with my girlfriends or out to a party, but I feel like I'm exhausting myself in the mean time. I love a simple outfit that I feel confident in and right now it's styling a neutral sweater with my denim skirt.

This denim skirt is from H&M and only cost $25. I did a little extra distressing on them, but I love this high waisted skirt. It looks great styled with tights underneath too if you wanted to wear it on a chillier day. I tucked my grey ribbed turtleneck from Forever21 into the skirt. Although this outfit is extremely simple, it's trendy and is comprised of versatile items that I can wear a hundred different ways. Not to mention, this entire outfit was under $50.

I am loving thin turtlenecks right now. I know it's still chilly out and a thinner sweater might not keep me as warm as a thick knit but these are great layering pieces and are affordable, too. The one I'm wearing has since sold out, but I linked several sweaters almost identical to the one I'm wearing. These boots, along with the turtleneck, are from Forever21. I purchased these little white booties back in November and have loved them ever since. They're on sale right now for only $22.
