Weekly Skinny: March 6th
Writing a weekly skinny post to you from Nashville, Tennessee! This week of March, I am on spring break from school and took a little trip to Music City, USA with my family. So far we've bar hopped, listened live music, watched a hockey game, shopped for boots, and eaten some delicious food. I love how on every corner, you hear live music and can pretty much smell barbecue at any point of my walk downtown.
Now that I'm on spring break and it's already March, I'm ready for spring to officially arrive. I'm ready to see blooming trees and wear outfits without a jacket. I want to start playing tennis outdoors again and hang out out on the quad and eat lunch for these last seven weeks of school.
I'm still on the hunt for an internship this summer, so to those who keep asking about it on Instagram, as soon as I know, you'll know too! I'm crossing my fingers something amazing comes my way!
Jonas Brothers Reunite - The Jonas Brothers are BACK! Can you believe after 6 years and they randomly drop a new song?! Although most of you already heard, I feel like I wouldn't be doing my 11 year old self justice if I didn't share the news about the band's new song Sucker. I can't wait to see their Carpool Karaoke on The Late Late Show and the music video for this song is amazing, I love how the band incorporated their wives (and fiancé) into the video.
Zemira Smock Mini Dress - This fun little smock dress is a perfect closet staple for the upcoming spring. The neutral colors in a simple gingham check is youthful and fun. I would pair this dress with a pair of sneakers or sandals for warm spring days.
French Stripe One Piece - It's March, so now I can finally start sharing my favorite swimsuits for the spring and summer. This French stripe one piece is not only affordable, but will look amazing on any body type. The vertical stripes will elongate your body while not showing too much skin.
American Idol is Back - Growing up, my family always watched American Idol. Since it's move to ABC from FOX, we have fallen even more in love with the show. Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Riche are the trio of judges and make for a great team. The talent and stories shared twice a week will bring you to tears and have you looking forward to Sunday nights.
Farewell to Karl Lagerfeld - Chanel's Paris Fashion Week show was an absolute farewell to Karl Lagerfeld. Once again, the house of Chanel released a collection that keeps up with modern trends while remaining to its ever-classic tweeds, twills, and double-breasted blazer silhouettes.
