On a Safari
Summer style is much more interesting to me than winter style. I love the vibrant colors, the fun trims, and the fact that I don't have to cover up with a coat. I love wearing a pair of "statement shorts" and a cute top with a casual shoe all throughout the warmer months. It's pretty much my summer uniform and today's look is no different.
I found these safari shorts back in March and knew I had to have them! I love the sherbet colors mixed with natural greens so make for a subtly-feminine statement short. These high waisted shorts are from Forever 21 and even have a matching crop top (sold separately). I instead opted for this Lilly Pulitzer eyelet top. You can wear this sweet top with jeans, culottes, shorts or a skirt all throughout the spring and summer.
To make the look a little more casual, I threw on my pink Old Skool Vans. These blush sneakers were found last summer at DSW and have quickly become my most favorite sneaker for summertime. I get so many compliments on them at school!
