Black & White for Fall
Virginia is prettiest in the Fall, especially in the Shenandoah Valley. How lucky am I to live in a place where everywhere I look there's a mountain covered in colorful foliage and each night there's a gorgeous sunset. Although Harrisonburg is pretty much a college town, if you drive just a few miles outside the city you'll find fields of cows and horses, secret lakes and hikes and all the agriculture you can find. It's really a special little town and it makes me feel like I'm at home.
I was driving around soaking up the with my friend Abby and we saw a corn field with gorgeous trees in the back and snapped some pictures. In the fall, I love playing with colors and textures. In this look, I styled a pleated pair of shorts from Zara (old) and my cable knit J. Crew sweater. The thing that makes this outfit fun are my white cowboy boots. I love these authentic Nashville boots. They're one of my favorite pairs of shoes and I only get so many opportunities to wear them (and I jump at all of them!).
I love how the textures play off of one another and create a unique outfit. The black and white also allows for the colors of the foliage to pop in the background. Shop the post below!
