Everything You Need from Target This Fall

I don't know what came over me Saturday morning, but I had a ball at my hometown Target this weekend. Normally, I sprint into Target, grab what I need and then head out. I almost never peruse the clothing section but two days ago, I tried on everything in sight. I had nothing to do and nowhere to go so I told myself "grab whatever and just try it on". I did just that and left two hours later a very satisfied customer with a much lighter wallet.

Over the past two years, Target has done a spectacular job turning their clothing section from one large section of items into a properly curated selection of unique collections for every woman. Between Prologue, A New Day, Who What Wear and Wild Fable collections, there's a collection for every shopper to fit their personal style.

After wandering the aisles for not even 20 minutes, I had an armful of items that I was dying to try on. I chronicled everything on Instagram stories, but am sharing my favorites with you today. I loved and I mean loved the mock cable knit sweater. You guys did too! This sweater comes in several colors and runs pretty big. A small felt like an oversized medium to me. It's perfect styled with jeans and a pair of sneakers or with leggings for a cozy day.

Another item I loved was the oversized gray sweatshirt. This sweatshirt is so soft and has the thickest turtleneck I think I've every seen. It's stiff which is perfect for windy fall days. I've already worn it styled with leggings, joggers and jeans and have yet to get sick of it. I purchased this in a medium for an oversized look. I want to layer it with relaxed tees underneath for chillier days.

The last thing I have to share about are these sweater pants. No, these are not sweat pants. Feels like a sweater, but they're pants. I picked these up and put them back twice before taking them back to the fitting room. I am so happy I pulled the trigger on them because they are by far the best thing I tried on this weekend. These pants are ankle length and are slightly tapered. They run big so grab a size down. They have regular pockets as well as one cargo pocket on the side. I styled these pants with simple white tees, athletic workout tops, knit turtlenecks and even blouses for a wear-to-work look.
