Shop My July Looks
Ever since quarantine began back in March I've been taking fewer traditional posed blog pictures and more mirror pictures for the blog and Instagram. Add moving and starting work to my life, and it seems like all I take are mirror pictures these days. I've loved sharing my daily looks on social media the past few months and I think readers are enjoying them too. All of my looks are accessible and shoppable throughout the LikeToKnot. It app, but since you're here - let me share my favorite looks from the past month with you and where to shop them.
Still one of my favorite purchases of the year (yes, the year!) has been my pink sweater blazer from J.Crew. I found this $150 piece for only $35 in the beginning of the month and only got to wear it to work once before we returned to permanent work from home. It's the perfect early spring and summer piece for the office. I want it in camel for fall and winter! It runs true to size, but I purchased a size up for styling with thicker sweaters and little extra room in the shoulders.
I styled it with a basic stripe tee from J.Crew (sold out) and my Madewell high-rise white skinny jeans. For my shoes, I'm wearing nude horse-bit loafers.

Since I've been working from home full time I've lived in my sweat shorts from Target. I styled these shorts with my v-neck cropped sweatshirt from Forever 21 (sold out). On this particular evening I was heading to Target to grab a few things (see the evidence behind me) so I threw on my New Balance's from J.Crew. These are hands down my favorite sneakers for running around town. They're comfortable and match pretty much any look.
For accessories I styled my Indio sunglasses from Madewell and my black crossbody gifted from Marley Lilly. This little black bag is perfect for transitioning from summer to fall. It even features a small monogrammed tag for a personal touch. It also comes in brown!

I ended up wearing this outfit back in late June to have dinner with a friend. I love the simplicity of a black and white look and then jazzing it up with fun accessories.
My top is a bow-shoulder tank from J.Crew Factory and my pleated gauze shorts are from a Zara set from 2019 - I linked a similar pair below. It was a breezy night on this particular evening and with al fresco dining, I was sure to grab a denim jacket as an extra layer just in case.
My purse is from Target and has a detachable strap to convert it into a clutch if so desired. To match the gold hardware on the purse, I styled my Lilly Pulitzer "Fit to Be Tied" sandals with the look.

Despite the 100 degree day that this picture was taken on, I wore this look to the airport when I flew home to Richmond two weeks ago. I just can't bring myself to wear shorts on an airplane.
For my evening flight I paired my dusty rose joggers with my new "All Day Rose" sweatshirt from Kiel James Patrick. The pink in the embroidered glass justified wearing pink pants for all to see 😅. Again, I styled my casual look with the same New Balances from J.Crew.
P.S. If you're on the fence about this sweatshirt - buy it! It's my favorite pieces for this casual summer!

I wore this outfit last weekend when my roommate and I met some friends for drinks. I love this casual look and so many of you loved it on Instagram that it's definitely worth sharing!
My mock turtleneck crop top and my navy and white stripe shorts are both from H&M. They both were purchased years ago but I linked similar items below.
The hoops I styled with this look are my all-time favorite pair of gold tube hoops from Madewell. They're lightweight and perfect for adding some shine to any look. I styled this look with a pair of gold gladiator sandals (not pictured) and since it's pictured, the wine I was drinking was a very inexpensive bottle of California Roots rose from Target. I guessI haven't grown out of my college wine choice.

I styled this look this past weekend to go to lunch and then couch shopping with my roommate. I styled my favorite pair of biker shorts from Aerie with an oversized white hoodie, also from Aerie.
For accessories I kept things casual with my Indio sunglasses from Madewell, my Marley Lilly back bag, a gold bangle, and my Adidas superstars (from TJ Maxx).
This look is one of my go-to errand running outfits because it's trendy and so comfortable. If you haven't hopped on it, the biker short trend is worth trying out!

My last look was never actually worn out, I just needed to share the outfit with someone! This Zara top is everything. The sweetheart neckline and puff-shoulders makes for a mature and trendy look without being too showy.
I threw my J.Crew boyfriend jeans on with this top. Because the Zara top is such a showstopper a simple pair of jeans looks best. If I were to wear this look out to dinner I would style my Steve Madden Inessa gold sandals with it for a summery touch of sparkle.
