Woo! October is here and fall is here too! The temperatures started cooling down here in the Shenandoah Valley and I finally pulled out my scarves and cowboy boots. This week is another busy week of senior year. I applied to more jobs and I write a few papers. The most exciting update of the week is that my family welcomed a new little member to the family - a little black kitty who has yet to be named. Pics will be on Instagram soon! Let’s talk about that I’m loving this week…

Hailey Bieber in Vogue - This is the best spread I've seen in Vogue this past year. Hailey Bieber traveled out west with Vogue and took the most stunning pictures. This several page spread was featured in the October issue and fully welcomes in fall. I love how natural her hair and makeup are and the contrast of high fashion outfits against the western-American landscape.
Gigi Hadid Saves Chanel Show - A French YouTuber crashed the Chanel show last week at Paris Fashion Week and the calm, cool and collected Gigi Hadid stepped in and properly escorted her off the runway. Although I wouldn't call her a hero, I have to give Hadid the credit she deserves here. She was the epitome of class and grace as she sternly yet professionally took matters into her own hands.
Inspired Boutique - My friend Lauren from Daily Dose of Charm launched an e-commerce boutique this past week and things are already selling like crazy. I've seen my sweet friend chronicle her professional endeavors on Instagram for the past year and I am so proud of her! It's not easy making such a big investment at such a young age and I love seeing her succeed. If you are looking for affordable, trendy clothing take a look at the Inspired Boutique. You won't be disappointed!
The Perfect Fall Romper - I need this romper in my life. As it's just now cooling down in Virginia, I have a feeling I won't be fully bundled up in sweaters and jeans for a few more weeks. I love the color scheme, ruffled shorts and sleeve style on this perfect fall romper. The Red Dress Boutique really never fails and this romper is only $56. Styled with a pair of brown leather ankle boots, you're sure to be the best dressed at any fall party.
The Politician on Netflix - Although I'm still making my way through Mad Men right now, I started watching The Politician on Netflix and it. is. so. good. Ben Platt plays a high-strung, overly-ambitious high schooler seeking out class presidency on his journey to Harvard. This heightened, satirical setting falls right in line with other Ryan Murphy works like Glee, American Horror Story and Scream Queens and also falls in line with their success. I love the cast of this show (hello, Gweneth Paltrow) and how Platt plays such a confident and honestly overbearing character, quite opposite from his role in Dear Evan Hansen and Pitch Perfect.
